Arbutus Archive
August 12th 2021 - October 17th 2021
Arbutus will be commemorating its 125th anniversary this year, and OCA Mocha is observing meaningful moments through a historical exhibition. This exhibition will take place from August 12th to September 29th, and will include family photos, portraits, landscapes, and other historical items, art, artifacts, or photography that tell the story of Arbutus.
Take a walk through what life might have been like during the years before now! This exhibition includes photographs of the area dating back as far as a century, and pieces that give us insight about some of the aspects of everyday life in Arbutus. This exhibition of historical material aims to shed a light on history through a compilation of interesting historical photographs and artifacts compiled by local Arbutus residents and community organizations like the Friends of Arbutus, an organization dedicated to preserving and storing information on the history of Arbutus.
